There’s just something magical about a simple afternoon picnic with the one you love. For Emily and Blake, their engagement session was all about slowing down, soaking up each other’s company, and celebrating the season of almost married life.

We met at a beautiful park filled with spring blooms, winding paths, and a cozy spot by the water—perfect for their laid-back vibe. Emily looked radiant in a lace dress that fluttered in the breeze, and Blake brought the cool, relaxed energy that perfectly matched hers. Together, they created such a genuine and joyful atmosphere that made capturing their love story so effortless.


They brought along a charming picnic setup, complete with flowers, champagne, and of course, lots of laughter. Whether they were lying back on the blanket watching the clouds roll by or dancing in the grass under the trees, every moment felt full of intention and joy.

One of my favorite parts of their session? How natural they were with each other. Their smiles were real, their laughter was constant, and every touch showed just how deep their connection runs. You can tell these two are truly best friends, and it was such an honor to photograph this sweet season for them.


I’ll be photographing their wedding this September, and if this engagement session is any preview of what’s to come, I already know it’s going to be an unforgettable celebration of love, laughter, and lifelong promises.
