So the mountains are calling you to elope??

You know you don’t want a wedding day that feels rushed, stressful, or packed with traditions that don’t actually feel like you two.

Instead, you want an intentional day in the mountains, surrounded by nature, and spent doing things you enjoy and with people you love. You can do things like watch the sunrise over the Smokies, hike to a quiet overlook and have a picnic, exchange vows surrounded by a gargling creek and ancient hemlocks and actually get to be present together through it all.

But, you may be asking yourself how they heck do we actually do that? Planning an elopement in the Smoky Mountains can feel daunting when there are endless locations, permits, timelines, weather changes, and logistics to figure out…

Eloping doesn’t mean you have to figure it all out alone.

Your vision deserves to be brought to life. That's where I come in!

Hey, I’m Abby, and I'm not just your photographer. I'm your adventure guide, local expert, and vision architect.

You’re probably here because the idea of a big traditional wedding just doesn’t feel right. You don’t want the pressure, the giant guest list, the strict timeline, or a day that flies by before you even get a moment alone together.

You know eloping isn’t just about the “easy and cheap” option. You envision an experience that actually feels meaningful and centered around the two of you instead of catered to everyone else’s expectations and experience. I wanted and did the exact same thing! And let me tell you, this ain't your mama's wedding.

That’s why I help couples create Smoky Mountain elopements that are centered around nature. Where you can fully soak in every moment, feel completely supported through the planning process, and walk away with memories that feel even better than the photos look (even though I promise they'll look dang good.)

"She took the time to get to know both of us prior to our elopement so that she knew exactly what we wanted."

Abby was so so wonderful in every aspect. She took the time to get to know both of us prior to our elopement so that she knew exactly what we wanted. We came from out of town which adds to the anxiety and has additional difficulties in terms of planning an elopement, but Abby helped ease the anxiety and made those difficulties that much easier. She went above and beyond, scoped out several potential wedding venues and sent pictures and videos for us to review. She was also very knowledgeable and able to provide recommendations for other vendors (dinner, flowers, hair/makeup). She even helped with applying for a permit in the national park.

Her father was our officiant and was able to personalize our ceremony, which is exactly what we were looking for. Abby was a dream to work with & I would recommend her to anyone looking to have a wedding or elopement in the Smokies!

FAQ

Do we need a permit to elope in the Smoky Mountains?

Yes, for any type of wedding ceremony where an officiant is present you will need a permit. There are set locations within the park where you can get married. I will walk you through the whole process and guide you every step of the way for this!

Can we include family, friends and pets?

Yes! Whether it’s just the two of you or a small group of loved ones, we can create a day that feels intentional and stress-free. Most locations in the National park are limited to 25 people. Unfortunately, the National Park does not allow dogs in most locations but if you absolutely want to include your furry friend we can look at some other options where they can be included!

When is the best time to elope in the Smoky Mountains?

Fall has vibrant warm colors, spring brings wildflowers, summer has lush greenery, and winter offers quieter locations and dreamy mountain snow. It all depends on the experience and vibes you want!

Do you help us choose an elopement location in the Smoky Mountains?

Absolutely. Based on your vision, guest count, accessibility needs, and desired experience, I’ll help you narrow down locations that fit you best!
