✨ My Working Style & Process as an Adventure Elopement Photographer
Planning an elopement isn’t just about pretty pictures—it’s about creating an intentional, stress-free, and wildly meaningful experience. My job is to guide you every step of the way and make sure your day is just as beautiful and authentic as your love story.

The Process

🤍 I. Connection First
Before anything else, I want to get to know you. Every couple is different, and your elopement should reflect your vibe—not a copy-paste Pinterest version. I start with a questionnaire and a video or phone chat so I can learn more about your story, your vision, and what matters most to you.
🏔️ II. Location & Timeline Guidance
Whether you already have a dream spot in mind or need help deciding, I’ll provide customized location suggestions based on your preferences—mountain views, waterfalls, meadows, or cozy cabins, you name it.
From there, I’ll help you craft a flexible, low-stress timeline that prioritizes the best light, avoids crowds, and gives you space to breathe and enjoy every moment.
📋 III. Permits, Planning & Backup Plans
Eloping in the Smoky Mountains often means dealing with permits, park rules, and unpredictable weather. I’ll guide you through the permit process, suggest vendor recommendations, and help you come up with a solid Plan B (and even Plan C) if needed. I’m your unofficial trail guide, cheerleader, and logistics nerd—all in one.
This is our process:

📸 IV. Photography That Tells a Story
My approach to photography is a mix of candid, documentary-style storytelling and guided-but-natural portraiture. You won’t spend your elopement posing for hours—you’ll be soaking it all in, exploring, laughing, crying, and being completely you. I’ll be there to capture the in-between moments, the quiet glances, and the epic landscapes around you.
🎞️ V. Post-Elopement Magic
After your day, I’ll carefully curate and edit your images to reflect the emotion and beauty of your experience. You'll receive sneak peeks within a few days and your full gallery within 4-6 weeks, delivered in a beautiful, easy-to-use online gallery you can share with friends and family.
Albums, prints, and highlight videos? I’ve got you covered if you want to create keepsakes that last forever.
💛 Your Experience Matters Most
More than anything, I want your elopement to feel like you. Whether it’s barefoot vows on a mountain ridge or a cozy ceremony under the trees, I’ll help you plan a day that feels true to your relationship—and document it in a way that feels timeless and real.
